Firmly established as Japan’s representative amongst the world of sports cars. the 2022 Nissan GT-R (R35) unveiled in 2021 included a special ‘T-Spec’ model (so named after the development code for trend maker / traction master). In addition to the standard Grand Touring (GT) ‘Premium Edition’. the ‘Track Edition Engineered by NISMO’ completed the Racing (R) in the GT-R name. While the 3.8 V6 twin-turbo (570/65.0kg-m) has not undergone any modifications. the T-Spec features carbon ceramic brakes inherited from the GT-R NISMO. gold RAYS forged lightweight aluminum wheels. and carbon components (depending on vehicle grade). plus a deep moss-green interior (premium edition only). In colors familiar to GT-R fans. the Millennium Jade used in the final limited edition R34 GT-R Nr and the much-loved Midnight Purple of the R33 GT-R have been used exclusively for the T-Spec. In addition. suspension was reviewed with the adoption of carbon brakes and new aluminum wheels which reduced the unsprung weight by 14kg. Rumored to be the final limited-edition model. more than 2.700 expressions of interest were received for the 100 units available (later increased to 120). once again demonstrating the overwhelming demand for the GT-R to the world.
